ROXANE CABASSUT

Roxane Cabassut is a producer and writer with experience in theatre and film.

 

Her past projects include Chickadee, performed at the Riverside Studios and Edfringe; The Hayfever Live Show, a dark comedy performed at the Arcola Theatre, Edinburgh Fringe, and Theatre Peckham, which won the Keep it Fringe Fund award and was sponsored by Phoebe Waller-Bridge.

She also produced and wrote an adaptation of Romeo & Juliette - bilingual and modernised version set in London in 2035, directed by RSC director Aileen Gonsalves – which toured in the UK and Switzerland. In 2022, Roxane became a producer at the Bush Theatre, producing their 50th Retrospectives and organising their 50th-anniversary celebration.

 

She is the founder of Emerge Production House, a company focused on eco-conscious projects and representing unheard voices in big cities across theatre, music, and film.

 

On the Film side, she is currently developing a series that she created with the BAFTA awarded Licklemor Productions and Mama Youth Project - NDA -, she also just produced her first Feature Film Burak cherche une baraque currently in post-production until January 2026. Aside from her own projects, Roxane also worked for 6 years as a producer within Filmart productions which produces commercials, promotional content and fiction.
